Levande is committed to environmental sustainability across the full lifecycle of our communities, from how our villages are designed and built, to how they are operated, and the legacy we leave behind for those who come after us. In 2025 we were the first Australian organisation to have a Science-Based Target validated under the buildings sectoral decarbonisation pathway.
Our Goals
- GHG Emissions and Embodied Carbon Emissions Reduction: SBTi near term targets for in-use operations and upfront embodied emissions.
- Resource Management – Waste Reduction and Recycling: To provide access to ecosystems and opportunities which support our residents in minimising waste and increase recycling and re-use.
- Sustainable Design Standards: We’re committed to integrating our sustainable design standards into all new buildings and have anchored this commitment to our SLL KPIs.
