The construction of the new apartments at Pine Lake has been progressing well, despite some rain delays.

The display apartment is now complete and open for walk throughs.

The construction crane has been dismantled marking a significant construction milestone, indicating that the building is now moving to internal finishes. It also signifies the "topping out" phase, where the roof is installed. The external brickwork is also progressing well.

As with most apartment developments, construction at Pine Lake has started from the lower floors, with the trades working their way up.

• Construction of the basement and ground floors has progressed the furthest, with construction of the first and second floors now underway.
• The first of the two lifts has now been commissioned, with the second expected to be commissioned by July.
• The basement is almost complete, with only final touches like installing services, storage cages, and line marking remaining.
• On the ground floor, all apartments have their walls up, and sheeting and painting are in progress. Joinery is being installed, and tiling has started, making these spaces come to life.
• On the first floor, the glazing and party walls are finished, with internal wall sheeting and painting underway.
• On the second floor, the walls are being framed, and the wall and ceiling services are being roughed in.

The next major milestone will be the removal of the scaffolding. This will be like an unveiling, allowing us to see all the detailed work on the exterior of the building.
