Residents of Newport Retirement Village were recently joined by Luke Howarth, the MP for Petrie, in a special ceremony to recognise outstanding service. Lee Smith, our Village Manager and Chelsea Wintour, our Administration Assistant, were honoured with Excellence Awards for their ongoing support and commitment to our residents. 

Luke Howarth not only presented the awards but dedicated his time to our community by stepping in to assist residents with their Aged Pension and My Aged Care applications. His hands-on approach and genuine care were apparent as he worked to support our residents in navigating these important processes. 

The visit from Luke was a testament to the strong bond between our village and the wider community. It was a day filled with appreciation, recognition, and support, highlighting the spirit of unity and collaboration that defines Newport Retirement Village. 

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Lee and Chelsea for their well-deserved recognition and our sincere gratitude to Luke for his continued support and advocacy for our residents.
