Classic Car Show 

The Car Show was the main attraction and featured a stunning line-up of classic cars that spanned the decades. No car show is complete without a touch of friendly competition. The event crowned winners in several categories, celebrating the outstanding vehicles on display. Awards included "Best Sedan/Sports Car in Show" for the GTS Monaro, "Managers Choice" for the Yellow SL Torana, "Best Ute" for the Holden 1 Tonner, and "Residents Choice" for the Perenti Convertible. It was heart-warming to note that this car had a special history, originally built and owned by the late husband of one of our residents- Rhonda, acting as a reminder of the many personal stories that are attached to these cars.  

Community Market Day 

The Macarthur Gardens Car Show & Market Day was about much more than just cars. It was a celebration of community spirit and a showcase of local talent. The bustling community market offered a diverse range of goods, providing a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses. 

Some of the stalls included "OMG Decadent Donuts" and "Lemon & Zest Bakery" who delighted taste buds with their delicious treats, and for our furry friends, "Chillax Pet Care" provided free ‘10-minute doggy massages’. "Plantry Lane" stole the show with their witty and creative handmade plant items, while other stalls showcased handmade candles, Christmas ornaments, jewellery, macramé, and more. 

The Secret Garden 

The Secret Garden, our on-site cafe operated from 8 am to 2 pm and experienced a non-stop rush from the start. They churned out over 180 coffees, a testament to the event's popularity and the community's love for caffeine! 

Everyone had a blast and the Macarthur Gardens team look forward to welcoming everyone back for another fantastic day soon.
