There was a wonderful sense of community at The Cambridge on Saturday as more than 120 guests joined us for our Winter Festival Open Day, alongside over 60 resident volunteers who generously welcomed visitors and shared what makes life at The Cambridge so special.

Designed as an opportunity for people considering retirement living to experience the community firsthand, the day brought together delicious seasonal food, live entertainment, wellness activities, apartment tours and resident-led experiences across the village. Guests enjoyed everything from homemade soups, paella and wine tastings to barista coffee, hot chocolate, live music, Tai Chi, arts and crafts, Gold Class cinema sessions, and guided tours of our premium apartments.

Adding to the atmosphere was a picture-perfect winter day, with sunshine illuminating The Cambridge's spectacular rooftop views across the Blue Mountains, the Hills District and the Sydney skyline. It was the perfect backdrop for guests to explore the village at their own pace and discover the exceptional amenities, beautifully designed shared spaces and welcoming community that residents enjoy every day.

One of the highlights of the event was the enthusiasm of our resident volunteers, who welcomed visitors into their community, answered questions, and shared their own experiences of moving to The Cambridge. Their warmth and generosity helped bring the community to life in a way that only residents can.

The response from guests was overwhelmingly positive, with the apartments receiving exceptional feedback for their spacious layouts, thoughtful design and premium finishes. More importantly, visitors left with a genuine understanding of the vibrant, connected community that sets The Cambridge apart.
